I'm a two-time award winning animator & experienced graphic designer based in Peterborough.
Doghouse is a place for me to post all of the stuff that I create. In particular, my animation and illustration pieces, alongside the graphic and web design work I undertake, both in a personal and professional capacity.
I first got into illustration in my teenage years and when I was sixteen two friends and I made an animated short called A Stickman Adventure. After discovering a love for both mediums, I applied to study an Animation and Illustration BA with honours. As I wouldn't have an art-related qualification, I received a placement on the condition that Stickman won an award at the upcoming LAFTA awards 2011. Luckily we managed to scoop up one nomination (Best Concept) and two wins (Best Animation & the Secondary Patron Award). I got into my University of choice and in 2015 I graduated with a 2.1 in Animation and Illustration BA (Hon).
Since then I've worked in bars and bookshops, which I loved, until finding my feet as the web and graphic designer for Drive By Websites & Drive By Design, a local web design and development agency I worked for for almost three and a half years, and who kindly host this site. In 2019 I decided it was time for change, so I moved to Northampton and got a job at an in-house graphic designer for Bambino Mio , taking the lead on their animation, video and web design-based projects while i was there. I’m now living in Peterborough - just a stone's throw away from my hometown - and working at Posh Gecko in my first dedicated animation position.
I have some exciting projects going on, both in and outside of work, so keep checking in for brand new content.
