I'm very lucky in that most of the clients I receive are really open to seeing what I can come up with when let loose. This is one of my favourite examples of what can happen when the client is really open to listening to the ideas and opinions of their branding and web designer. With some minor tweaking and discussion regarding what would work best for the business's image, the result was great.
The client told me they weren't sure if they'd like to go for a traditional, hand drawn look, or a modern, cool-looking concept for their new branding and web design. I produced a few logo variations to exemplify the ideas. After discussing them further with the client, we went for a sleek metalic-on-black colour scheme, and were both pretty pleased with the result.
